Sequence Memory
Watch the coloured buttons light up, then press them in the same order. Each new sequence gives you a little more to remember.
Start the round and watch which coloured, numbered buttons light up. When it is your turn, press the same buttons in the same order. Complete five sequences. Pause whenever you need; there is no response timer.

Tips and tricks
A few ideas that make Sequence Memory easier and more fun:
- Break long sequences into chunks of two or three instead of one long line.
- Tap or hum along while the pads light up. Rhythm helps memory more than you would expect.
- Turn the sound on. Every pad has its own note, and a short melody is easier to remember than a list.
About Sequence Memory
Play Sequence Memory online
Watch-and-repeat games have been childhood favourites for generations. This version uses four coloured, numbered buttons and gradually longer patterns.
Why it works
You keep a short sequence in mind and reproduce its order. The task uses working memory, sustained attention and coordination between seeing and pressing.
These are the skills used during play; improvement outside the game is not established.
