Matching Pairs
Turn over two cards and look for the same picture. Remember what you have seen, then find every pair in as few moves as you can.
Turn over two cards at a time. Matching pairs stay face up. Find every pair to finish the round. Fewer moves earn a higher score.
How to play
- Select a difficulty and press Start round.
- Choose any two cards. Matching pictures stay visible.
- Find every pair. There is no time limit.
Tips and tricks
A few ideas that make Matching Pairs easier and more fun:
- Work across the board in a fixed order. Then you always know which cards you have already seen.
- If you turn over a card you have seen before, use your second card to check its twin straight away.
- Name positions to yourself, such as “top left: the fox”. A spoken label is easier to recall than a picture alone.
About Matching Pairs
Play Matching Pairs online
Matching pairs is a familiar family card game: turn over two cards, remember their places and find each pair. Biuno uses everyday emoji pictures and counts your moves.
Why it works
You hold pictures and their positions in mind, then retrieve them when a matching card appears. It is practice in visual recall and paying attention to previous turns.
These are the skills used during play; improvement outside the game is not established.
